We offer 260 sites, 124 with water and electric, 116 offering full hookups, and 20 rustic tent sites, accommodating everything from a tent to the largest RVs. Our W/E and W/E/S sites are a mix of pull-thru and back-in, where we can accommodate literally any size RV. And did you know that Gettysburg Campground is the only campground in Gettysburg with an on-site RV repair facility? If you are new to the camping experience, we also have rustic cabins and full-facility cottages.
Bring the whole family (pets are welcome!) and enjoy our many recreational activities, including a well-equipped game room, mini-golf, shuffleboard, volleyball, horseshoes and children’s playground. Relax in the pool on those hot summer days, and, in the evening, top off your campfire dinner with a movie or just unwind at your campsite enjoying our friendly, relaxed environment. You will also want to check out our activity schedule and join in the fun, with planned activities each weekend.
Our on-site services are the best. They include a laundry facility, LP gas, firewood, 2 dump stations, on-site pump-out service, free Wi-Fi (most sites), and a country-style store with RV supplies, food, toys, Civil War collectibles, books, jewelry, clothing, and gifts. We also have a snack bar serving breakfast and lunch, as well as an ice cream parlor featuring hand-dipped Hershey’s Ice Cream. In addition, we have a large recreation hall available for use when it is not scheduled for a campground activity.
Nearby, in downtown Gettysburg, you will find Civil War battlefields, museums and exhibits, the Eisenhower Farm, ghost walks, great gift shops and restaurants, and many other great attractions. You can also take a day trip to the Carlisle Car Shows, Hershey, Harpers Ferry, York, Harrisburg, and the Lancaster County Amish country. We offer bus tours to Gettysburg and Washington, DC, making a great day trip for history buffs.
We look forward to having you stay with us at Gettysburg Campground. Please e-mail us or give us a call if you would like to learn more about our park. Our friendly staff will be more than happy to help you plan a great vacation!
